Nikon 1 S2 Mirrorless Digital Camera
Nikon 1 S2 Firmware Update – Nikon 1 S2 is an affordable sibling J4. Both cameras have many similarities (small and light form factors, interchangeable lenses), but both also have some similar flaws. New buyers who are looking for their first interchangeable lens camera may be interested in low S2 prices. Still, they will be sacrificing many useful features, such as optical image stabilization, Wi-Fi, and touchscreen LCD.
Nikon S2 also offers other conventional shooting modes. Such as auto programmable, shutter and shot priority, and Manual measure. The On-board is also an LCD screen of 3 inches with point-460k, electronic shutter, ISO sensitivity range of 200-12,800, the latest EXPEED 4A image-processing engine, and a built-in pop-up flash.
Nikon 1 S2 Features and Design
S2 is the most affordable Nikon lens camera that is interchangeable and is a low-end series of mirrorless models of the Nikon 1 series. Although S2 is a reasonable offer, there are some severe compromises attributed to low prices.
From a glance, Nikon S2 and J4 look alike; Both share comparable weights and measures (size S2 4 x 2.4 x 1.2 inches, and weighs 6.7 ounces without lenses). You will have no trouble bringing this all day, making it an ideal travel camera.
The bottom has a speaker compartment and a battery/card. The battery has fewer juices than J4 (270 versus 300 shots, per CIPA standard) and the two are less than competing mirrorless cameras. The Nikon S2 uses a small MicroSD card, which allows Nikon to reduce size and weight; We find these cards hard to handle, but get a large capacity card (and a quick card if you plan to record a video), so you don’t have to take it often.
