Nikon COOLPIX P330 Firmware Update – The Nikon Coolpix P330 is an impressive compact camera. It has a 12-megapixel image sensor with a design of 1/1.7 inches, larger in surface areas than any other compact in this price range. The lens up to f/1.8 at the wide end, raw shooting is supported, and the rear LCD is very sharp. Unfortunately, the P330 is a very slow performance—it takes a full 1.9 seconds to recover after taking a JPG photo. It’s priced on an upscale scale for mid-range cameras but can also be seen as a cheap version of the fan-oriented compact.

Vibration reduction is already installed and uses lens shifts, which will provide good low light performance when combined with an f/1.8 lens and a backlit CMOS sensor. The camera also promises 10fps continuous shooting and a number of other high-speed shooting modes, including 15fps at 3mp and 60 or 120fps at 1mp. Built-in GPS allows photo tagging, logging, and time synchronization.

How to Updating the Camera Firmware

1. Create a new folder on your computer.

2. Download the Nikon COOLPIX P330 Firmware (F-P330-V11W.exe / F-P330-V11M.dmg) to the folder created in Step 1.
3. Extract the Firmware file (F-P330-V11W.exe / F-P330-V11M.dmg) containing “firmware.bin” (camera firmware) to a folder called “P330Update“.
4. Copy the file “firmware.bin” to the memory card that has been formatted in the Nikon COOLPIX P330.
5. Insert the memory card into the main slot on the Nikon COOLPIX P330 and turn on the camera.
6. Select the Firmware version in “SETUP MENU” and follow the instructions displayed on the Nikon COOLPIX P330 camera screen to complete the firmware update.
7. Turn off Nikon COOLPIX P330 camera and remove the memory card after the firmware update process is complete.

8. Confirm that the Nikon COOLPIX P330 camera firmware has been updated to the new version
