Nikon D4 Overview
The Nikon D4 includes a 3.2-inch LCD with VGA resolution, the ability to enlarge images up to 46x, and the ambient light sensor to automatically brighten or dim the screen based on the lighting conditions. The 51-point AF Array enhances the 2nd EV sensitivity and can accommodate lenses up to f/8. The Video was also upgraded from 720p to 1080p at D3S at 30fps. Sensor – Nikon D4 is based around the newly developed FX-format CMOS image sensor with a sufficient resolution of 16.2 megapixels, rising from the 12.1-megapixel chip used in previous models D3 and D3S. The Total sensor resolution developed by Nikon, which has a dimension of 36.0 X 23.9 millimeters, is 16.6 megapixels. In the original 3:2 aspect ratio sensor, Nikon D4 generates images at resolutions up to 4,928 x 3,280 pixels.
Focusing – Nikon D4 started its next-generation version of the 51 point autofocus module Nikon, which is now dubbed Advanced Multi-CAM 3500FX. The new sensor has an improved performance range from -2 to +19 EV (ISO 100, 20 ° c / 68 ° f), and adds a release focus mode that uses focus priority to the first frame, and then release the priority for the next frame.
