Check the camera firmware version.

• Turn on the Nikon COOLPIX A camera.
• Press the Nikon COOLPIX A camera MENU button and select the Firmware Version in the SETUP MENU to display the Nikon COOLPIX A Camera Firmware Version.
• Check the Nikon COOLPIX A Camera Firmware Version.
• Turn off the Nikon COOLPIX A camera.

How to Updating the Camera Firmware

1. Create a new folder on your computer.

2. Download the Nikon COOLPIX A Firmware (F-A-V112W.exe / F-A-V112W.dmg) to the folder created in Step 1.
3. Extract the Firmware file (F-A-V112W.exe / F-A-V112W.dmg) containing “F-A__0112.bin” (camera firmware) to a folder called “COOLPIXAUpdate“.
4. Copy the file “F-A__0112.bin” to the memory card that has been formatted in the Nikon COOLPIX A.
5. Insert the memory card into the main slot on the Nikon COOLPIX A and turn on the camera.
6. Select the Firmware version in “SETUP MENU” and follow the instructions displayed on the Nikon COOLPIX A camera screen to complete the firmware update.
7. Turn off Nikon COOLPIX A camera and remove the memory card after the firmware update process is complete.

8. Confirm that the Nikon COOLPIX A camera firmware has been updated to the new version
