Nikon D300 Firmware Update for Windows and Mac OS download
Nikon D300 Firmware Update – Both the D3 and the D300 are pro-grade cameras, and have many of the same revolutionary features. While D3 makes a breakthrough for Nikon with a full-frame sensor (called FX) at 12.1 Megapixels, the D300 almost matches the resolution at the old DX size recording a 12.3-megapixel image with a 1, 5x trimming factor. They share many features; we consider the D300 as a build-it-yourself Nikon D3.
Nikon D300 Overview
when the Nikon D300 was first announced. For example, even though it has 14-bit A/D conversions available in RAW mode for much more color information on each image file, the frame rate slows down from 6.13 frames per second in 12-bit mode to 2.66 seconds in 14-bit mode. It does not happen with D3, nor the Canon 40D (although 40D is only 10 megapixels from the 12.3 D300).’
Nikon D300 are similar, but not identical to the Nikon D200. Smoother contours, buttons, and connector covers are reconstructed, but most of the main controls are in familiar places.
From the front, we can see a slightly more organic curve and a red accent on the grip. The Nikon logo looks a bit more daring, and the Nikon D300 logo has been moved up and to the left a bit to make room for Sync sync and Remote Terminal covers that are moored (top right). The handles are mostly the same, with a beautiful inner surface for your finger balls pervasive. The rubber coated surfaces are adhesive and well-textured for safe containment.
