How to Updating the Camera Firmware

Create a new folder on your computer.
- Download the Nikon COOLPIX P80 Firmware (F-P80-V11W.exe / F-P80-V11M.dmg) to the folder created in Step 1.
- Extract the Firmware file (F-P80-V11W.exe / F-P80-V11M.dmg) containing “firmware.bin” (camera firmware) to a folder called “P80Update“.
- Copy the file “firmware.bin” to the memory card that has been formatted in the Nikon COOLPIX P80.
- Insert the memory card into the main slot on the Nikon COOLPIX P80 and turn on the camera.
- Select the Firmware version in “SETUP MENU” and follow the instructions displayed on the Nikon COOLPIX P80 camera screen to complete the firmware update.
- Turn off the Nikon COOLPIX P80 camera and remove the memory card after completing the firmware update process.
