Nikon COOLPIX P530 Compact Digital Camera
Nikon COOLPIX P530 Firmware Update – Coolpix P530 is the latest superzoom bridge camera from Nikon for the full range of Coolpix camera performance features. Replacing the Coolpix P520, the new camera offers a 16.1MP high-sensitivity CMOS sensor with iso 100-6400 sensitivity range and Full HD 1080p video recording. In front is a 42x optical zoom lens that provides a versatile focal length range of 24-1000mm in 35mm camera terms. Lens Shift Vibration Reduction will help keep shots sharp, and you’ll be able to create photos on sharp 3.0″, 921k-dot monitors or through the electronic viewfinder. The P530 is focused on sharp photographers and gets a DSLR-like dial mode to easily choose aperture and shutter priority modes, as well as full manual options.
Nikon COOLPIX P530 Design, Features, and Performance
The Coolpix P530 looks and feels very similar to a DSLR, with a substantial rubber-coated grip and a rubber-coated area on the front left, although the patches on the back for your right-hand thumb are just plastic. There is a regular rocker zoom at the top to control the zoom. You’ll also find the mode button, the on/off button, and the fn button on top of the camera. The latter can be adjusted to change ISO, measurement, white balance, and more. The button also activates the flash at the top.
On the back of the camera, but at the top, there are display buttons, movie recording, and a dial to set shutter speed and aperture. Other buttons include playback, menu, delete, and a play button to rotate through the menu options. It can also be pressed to provide flash, timer, exposure compensation, and focus mode access.
The Nikon Coolpix P530 has a back-illuminated 16 megapixel CMOS sensor that allows more light in. The 42x optical zoom lens is equivalent to 35mm from 24-1000mm, ideal for landscape and zoom near your subject. To help take as sharp a picture as possible, there’s advanced lens-shift VR (vibration reduction), which allows slower shutter speeds of up to four stops, and Active Mode that provides clear shots even when you’re on the move.
When shooting, there is an automatic mode that adjusts the camera settings automatically for detected scenes. You can also choose from 21 scene modes or use manual exposure mode (P/S/A/M). Other shooting modes include automatic HDR, Easy Panorama 360° / 180°, and lenses with a minimum focusing distance of 1cm for macro shooting. You can record at 7 fps for 7 frames or 200 full-resolution shots at 1 fps in continuous shooting mode.
