Nikon COOLPIX W100 Compact Digital Camera
Nikon COOLPIX W100 Firmware Update – The Nikon Coolpix W100 is waterproof to 10 m, shock resistant to 1.8 m, has a 13.2-megapixel sensor, full HD video recording and 3x optical zoom lens. The camera is designed for easy use with large buttons, and a simple user interface, and with built-in Wi-Fi, NFC and Bluetooth, it’s quick and easy to transfer photos to your smartphone.
Nikon COOLPIX W100 Design, Features and Performance
The Nikon Coolpix W100 is big enough for compact cameras, but it is a typical measure for a waterproof and resilient model. Well-placed and too large buttons are easy to use while underwater or when wearing gloves, with four buttons next to the screen that directly controls the general menu options. Underwater, the camera is almost floating, with one side of the camera higher than the other-this will make it easy enough to attach a small float device to the camera to make it float.
W100 delivers a hefty pace. It starts, focuses, and fires in about 1.6 seconds, a good number for a compact. Autofocus is locked in about 0.2 seconds, not the fastest we tested, but also not slow. And if you turn on the Scene shooting mode with a connection, you can shoot images at speeds of 4, 8fps to 12 photos. You can continue shooting longer, but the camera slows to about one shot every 2.5 seconds.
